Frequently Asked Questions

What is a "Fair Launch"?

There has been a lot of buzz generated recently by projects launched as "Fair Launch", but what does it mean and what are the implications for a cryptocurrency project? A fair launch offers participants the opportunity to acquire tokens over a long period of time at a relatively equal price. The goal of the fair launch is to allow users to enter into the acquisition of tokens under the same conditions, which has traditionally led to less 'whales' dominating token supplies. Because Jetfuel Finance launched as a "fair launch", that means Jetfuel was not prefarmed, there was no presale and no token allocations. Everybody earns their FUEL as the tokens are minted from the masterfuel contract.

How do I connect my wallet to Jetfuel Finance?

Web Metamask Mobile is the recommended wallet to connect to Jetfuel Finance on the web. Once on the Jetfuel Finance dApp, click on "Connect Wallet" on the top right. You will then presented with a prompt showing the Metamask logo, click on the logo and your Metamask wallet will prompt you to approve the connection. Binance Chain Wallet support is coming soon.

Mobile Jetfuel Finance works great on many different mobile wallets, such as Trust Wallet, SafePal Wallet, Math Wallet, and others. Once you type in "Jetfuel.finance" in the wallet dApp browser, you will get to the Jetfuel Finance homepage, and you can click on "Connect Wallet" and approve the wallet prompt.

How do I buy FUEL?

You can purchase FUEL by going to Pancakeswap.finance or HyperSwap. The token is whitelisted and can be found in each exchange's list of tokens. Because FUEL is a transactional tax token, make sure you set the slippage, by clicking on the gear icon and manually typing in 3%, before you attempt to swap.

How can I track the FUEL price?

There are many different ways, however the most up current pricing can be found directly on Pancakeswap.info and Streetswap.info. FUEL is listed on CoinGecko, and should be listed on CoinMarketCap shortly. You can also access pricing by using the BSCtools website below.

Is Jetfuel Finance audited?

Yes, the platform has been audited, and the audit reports can be found on the 'Audits' page. The audits have shown that Jetfuel developers do not have the ability to mint or migrate any tokens. Jetfuel Finance does not have the ability to "rug-pull". Security of your assets is very important to us.

How do I stake FUEL tokens?

FUEL tokens can be staked by going to the "Staking" page and clicking on "Convert to JETS". If you would like a walk-through, there is a how-to guide on the How-To Guides page. To stake your FUEL go to the "Staking" page by going here: https://jetfuel.finance/staking/fuel

What are JETS tokens?

JETS is the staking and governance token of the Jetfuel Ecosystem. JETS deliver multiple revenue streams for FUEL holders from the hangar reserves, vault rewards, GFORCE rewards, additional JETS staking rewards, and provide voting power when governance is launched. JETS will provide you with yield and reward opportunities for every project Jetfuel launches in the future.

Can I trade JETS tokens?

Jetfuel does not support JETS trading. JETS should be held or staked, not sold since you need JETS in order to withdraw your FUEL plus rewards. If your JETS are lost/unrecoverable, we are unable to assist you with the recovery of your FUEL and rewards.

What is the Staking Reserve?

FUEL has a 2% transactional tax built into the smart contract. 1% of every transaction is burned forever and 1% of every transaction is sent to the Hangar Reserves (staking pool). So that means every time FUEL is bought, sold, harvested, transferred, or put into an LP, the Hangar Reserves wallet is replenished with FUEL.

JETS holders will earn FUEL from this pool by staking their FUEL. JETS holders’ earnings are based on the number of FUEL stakers and FUEL available in the contract. Currently, 60 FUEL will be sent from the Hangar Reserves to JETS holders, however, that number can be increased as the platform grows.

Are there fees to un-stake FUEL tokens?

There is a 2.5% fee that funds development, and the normal 2% transaction tax. If you are curious how much FUEL you would receive from un-staking, go to the "Staking" page, and find where it says "Your total pool share in FUEL", multiply that number by .955, and that will be the amount of FUEL you receive once you convert JETS back to FUEL.

How do I farm FUEL?

To farm FUEL, you must first go to Pancakeswap or HyperSwap, and provide liquidity to the FUEL-BNB liquidity pool. Once you have successfully added your tokens as liquidity, you are given LP tokens in return. You must then head to the "Fuels" page on Jetfuel Finance, and deposit the LP tokens you received in one of the FUEL farming pools.

What is the relationship between FUEL and JETS?

The price of FUEL and JETS was 1:1 on launch day, and the pair are intrinsically tied up and down with normal ups and down of the market. Because JETS tokens receive passive income from all the products in the Jetfuel Finance ecosystem, JETS grow in value faster than FUEL does. That causes the ratio of JETS you will receive from staking your FUEL, to drop as time goes on. The current ratio for FUEL:JETS is around 1:.7, and will continue dropping, which incentivizes users to stake their FUEL for JETS as early as possible to lock in the best ratio and receive the maximum JETS for your FUEL.

What does the Harvest button do in the vaults?

The vault smart contracts automatically harvest and auto-compound each vault at least every 4 hours, however, it is possible for anyone to initiate that process sooner, by clicking on the "Harvest" button in a vault. Each vault harvest, .5% of the harvest is converted into wBNB and sent to whoever initiated the harvest. This mechanism incentivizes the community to increase the number of auto-compounds that occur.

What are the V2 Vaults?

Jetfuel Finance has recently launched version 2 vaults that utilize an exciting new "zap" function that allows users to enter/exit LP vaults using just BNB, if preferred. This mechanism simplifies the highly complex process of adding and removing liquidity to AMM's. This feature will soon be rolled out to all of the vaults we currently offer, and all new vaults from this point on will be V2.

Why is my transaction failing?

It might be a problem within BSC, and the gas and gas limit could be off, so in your wallet prompt set the GWEI to 10, and the Gas Limit to 210,000.

It may be a decimal point rounding error, so if you are trying to deposit or withdraw an amount with a lot of integers, try removing a few decimal points. Instead of 1.23456789, try 1.234.

If you are trying to buy or sell FUEL, the transaction may be prevented by a slippage % that is too low. Please hit the gear icon, on your decentralized exchange, and manually set the slippage amount to 3%.

If you are still having issues, the Binance Smart Chain RPC address that your wallet is connected to may be dealing with congestion. You can find many backups listed on the Binance official docs, here: https://docs.binance.org/smart-chain/developer/rpc.html
